This spectrometer has 1 nm resolution at 350 nm and 0.25 nm resolution at 700 nm. This version of the spectrometer is sold as an optical breadboard kit making it suitable for science enthusiasts, advanced astrophotographers, universty teaching labs, and research measurements. It is not suitable for novices.
 
As sold the spectrometer is optimised for visible wavelengths and APS-C sized sensors. With other optics, gratings, and sensors, the kit can be reconfigured for other spectroscopic applications.
 
The kit includes an adjustable slit to suit a range of environmental conditions, illumination sources, and time integration scenarios.

The kit comes disasembled and with a stock Canon DSLR, if you would like assembly or high performance camera, this can be arranged.
